I'm hoping that all my chocolate dreams will come true on Sunday. And, although I did not send heart-shaped boxes filled with sweets to the folks on the following list, I'll send all sweet thoughts their way on Valentine's Day.

to The Strobist whose admirers are legion; I'll just get in line. David Hobby's blog helped me overcome a 10-year (15-year?) phobia of off-camera lighting. His postings progress logically, building skills and confidence with great exercises and down-to-earth humor. I never, ever thought I would get over my fear of the strobe, and look at me now - two off camera flashes at the roller rink!!! Who'd a thunk it?

Speaking of the beginning, now I'm to Todd, and here words fail. Without getting gushy, I would give this man all the dark chocolate in the world, and still it would not be enough.
